Textual Terrorism is a blog devoted to arguably the Worst Part of the Internet (worse than 4chan???): YouTube's comments section. Just when I think that how we relate to one another cannot get more awkward, YouTube's users prove me wrong, and I feel something that can only be described as mournful excitement. Sometimes, I consider if there aren't any real people behind the messages -- if it's not all just the workings of an A.I., based on a kid who bragged on the Ultra Hardcore Gamer forums about calling his mom a "stupid bitch" when she didn't cook the whole package of Pizza Rolls. Or, if not that, a golem that's modeled its communication on actual language in only the most superficial ways, so that the information is in a place that always falls short of coherency and becomes uncanny. Since there is such a wealth of horrifying/perplexing content, this site will probably be updated in a daily manner.
